Meet the Shepherd

A wonderful insight into the way of life of the Scottish hill sheep farmer

Shemore Farm sits on Luss Estate, with stunning views across Loch Lomond’s enchanted islands. The Lennox Family have farmed here for 11 generations, dating back to 1750. Their passion for what they do really comes across as they informatively entertain our guests.

We’ll drive into the farm in the Land Rovers, where guests receive a very warm Scottish welcome from the Lennox family. Awesome home baking and hot drinks are served as guests learn of the Lennox family history, and their way of life. The chat is filled with humorous anecdotes and wonderful photographs from years gone by.

Bobby always rounds things off with an impressive sheep dog display with trusty Nel, and photo opportunities with the family and the breath-taking views across Loch Lomond.

The experience usually lasts around an hour and works really well as part of a half-day or full-day adventure given the close proximity to our off road areas.
